Meeting Announcement Call for Papers The North American Sundial Society will hold its annual meeting on 11-14 September 1997 in Chicago. Highlights will include visits to the Adler Planetarium and Astronomy Museum (Chicago) and the Time Museum (Rockford) in order to inspect their early time-finding instruments. A tour of modern sundials in the Chicago area is also planned. The program committee invites papers on all aspects of dialling, including the history, culture, design, fabrication, and science of sundials. Exhibits and short show-and-tell demonstrations are also welcome. Abstracts (up to 500 words) must be submitted by June 1st.
