Dear Dimitrios, Is there a way to set auto-exposure priority to exposure so that when > the camera tries to find a solution for a given lighting condition, it > tries first to adjust gain and then exposure? I believe the default is > 'gain priority' i.e. adjust exposure until lighting is within required > limits while keeping gain fixed. >
We have only exposure adjusted (within autoexposure/autowb window) with gains set manually only (fixed green and auto-adjusting red & blue for white balance) - 'gain priority' like you called it. So the solution for now is to try to set gains manually so the darkest scene is not blurred. Different default gains for sunny/cloudy conditions might work. What do you think? The effective range for adjusting gains is not wide - images get noisier above 8. You might have already played with it. Best regards, Oleg Dzhimiev
