Hi Tom, elphel ppa repo dose not include Ubuntu 14.04.2 trusty > what are my options? >
1. Download a live usb <http://www3.elphel.com/liveusb> ( kubuntu-elphel-4.iso <http://community.elphel.com/files/live-dvd/>) and the firmware image <http://sourceforge.net/projects/elphel/files/elphel353-8/8.2.16/> (which you already did), boot from the usb drive and flash the camera. Let me know if there are any problems. 2. Manual adding should work: Add the following lines to your sources.list (*sudo kate /etc/apt/sources.list*)): deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/elphel/ppa/ubuntu natty main deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/elphel/ppa/ubuntu natty main sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install cris-dist Try building the firmware after.
