Hello Yakov, Running KAI11002 at higher pixel rate decreases the dynamic range, and the Model 323 was designed to provide full dynamic range that sensor can provide while the required frame rate for book scanning was just 1 frame per 1.5 second. All the timing of the CCD is implemented in the FPGA so it is possible to increase the frame rate (you will also need to replace 10313 boards with 10353 as the older AXIS CPU had limited network bandwidth due to software checksum calculation). On the other hand, reducing the dynamic range by increasing the frame rate would reduce advantage of that CCD image sensor and you will get performance of the newer CMOS image sensors that are much easier to operate.

But it's matrix can do 4.8 fps at 30mhz. Can model 323 can be somehow upgraded to do 4.8 fps? Best regards, Yakov Petrov. _______________________________________________ Support-list mailing list Support-list@support.elphel.com http://support.elphel.com/mailman/listinfo/support-list_support.elphel.com
