I have a problem with freenet
running on XP. I am trying to set
up a permanent node (since I have DSL access and never shut off my computer)
but am unable to get freenet to run at all. To avoid having to type the whole problem out in full, I
hope you’ll forgive me for directing you to my weblog,
where I mentioned the problem in the hopes that someone would tell me how to
fix it. The article is at http://www.salocin.com/article.php?name=21023
and if you can help, you can reply to me at this address or online on the
website itself. I have tried everything I can think of, and have probably
copied and pasted every available node on the internet into the system in an
attempt to make it work. I have
also restarted many times and disabled pretty much every security/firewall
feature on my computer. The system load stays at zero and never budges, even when I
leave the node running for hours. Can you help? Nicolas. |
