Looking at the timeline we switched to lighttpd with version 0.95.2, so versions after that one should be save to upgrade. However, always keep in mind that the embedded updates are webgui only updates and that binaries are not included. Reflashing from time to time is highly recommended until the new update mechanism is finished for these builds.
