Dear colleagues, universAAL project is approaching its end and we are very excited to share our great results with all of you!
To do so we have organized, in conjunction with AAL Forum, a number of very interesting events, and if you are attending the biggest event of the year for AAL, please don't miss the opportunity to join us! If you are a developer and/or a researcher, there are two events especially suited for you: - universAAL Training Workshop, on Monday 23rd September, from 9:00 to 17:00. The training workshop aims to introduce universAAL platform to developers and show them how to start with basic development in AAL environment. More information and registrations at: http://www.universaal.org/training/index.php/events/aal-forum-2013 - EvAAL Workshop, on Tuesday 24th September, from 13:30 to 17:00. EvAAL competition (Evaluating AAL Systems through Competitive Benchmarking) this year held in three tracks: indoor localization and tracking (1-5 July in Madrid), activity recognition (8-12 July in Valencia), and companion robotics (15-19 July in Pisa), during the workshop the competitors are going to present the systems they used to compete and winners will be announced. No registration needed. If you are a service provider, authority, investor, developer or researcher, this event is made for you: - universAAL, the open platform for the AAL market breakthrough Workshop, on Tuesday 24th September, from 9:00 to 12:30. The objective of the workshop is to present the advantages, both technical and economic, that universAAL platform provides to the different stakeholders and engage with the audience in a constructive discussion about the exploitation opportunities and potential barriers for adoption. Also potential collaboration with external parties will be explored during this session.
