Keith,
Sent the following e-mail to Simon Wells the other day following your putting details of his biodiesel mixer on the web but have not heard back from him. Would appreciate yours, Steve Spences, or anyone else who is knowledgeable comments. Thanks.

Hi Simon,
Had a look at your biodiesel mixer pictures and read the article when Keith put in on the net the other day. Believe you have done a good job keeping it simple and that it should work well. One question though. I see you are using a 1500 rpm motor and that you state the blade turns at about 800 or say 750 rpm using  2:1 reduction pulleys. By my reckoning this equals about 13 r p second which seems very fast to me. I would have thought about 1/2 that would have been more than plenty (420 rpm = 7 revs per second). Interested in your thoughts on the matter and why you have chosen this higher speed. At present have not yet made bio-diesel so have no practical experience but intend to shortly. Have I missed something or is there something I cant yet see.
