A couple of my clients have expressed an interest in large scale oil seed production. Both are in semi-arid areas. One is north western Mexico and the other in northern Arizona. I have looked at many kinds of seeds with multiple uses of feed and oil but would like your recommendations. It would be a real big plus if they could be irrigated with brackish ground water. They don't mind investing in extruding and pressing equipment to obtain the oil. The goal is to feed stationary diesel engines with the straight unprocessed oil if possible.
