Sorting out a few things at work the other day and came across a packet of
plastic tubes. 47mm long 6.5mm diam sealed at one end. Made from porous
plastic. Tried using one on end of air line for bubble washing but pore size
was 60 micron and bubbles were too large leading to emulsification.
They are made by Porex Technologies, a company which specialises in porous
plastics.
lots of interesting stuff on their web site, applicable to either filtering
or aereation.
