NOOO... geezzz LOL 1 litre = 1.06 quarts 6.5 L. x 1.06 qt. = 6.89 qt. divide by 4 qt/gal = 1.7 US gal. Vaguely remember dumbody multiplying 6.5 litres x 1.06 qt. = some stupid answer I gave.
