Would that not be strictly for water absorbtion?

If so, all it can do is dewater WVO, not filter it or change its
viscosity as does transesterification, which kinda' discounts a
claim that it is "the same quality" as transesterified WVO.

Sounds like a manufacturer or distributor is making "a bit of a
reach."
