I picked up a gallon of used automatic transmission fluid from my local tranny mechaanic and measured the specific gravity, 0.86, less than diesl or biodiesel. Can you run it straight in a diesel, mix it with diesel or BD ? and will it lower the gel point for winter use. Any environmental concerns ? Any one tried it? I can get it for a nickel a gallon, should be much easier to filter.
