Yes , I used it on my first few batches of BD. It is methanol and worked
well. Quite expensive that way, however. I happened to find it at a store
that was going out of business so obtained it at a very good price. I am
now buying methanol in 55 gal drums from a local chemical supplier. MUCH
more economical.
Oh, BTW make sure it is the HEET in the yellow bottle, the HEET in the red
bottle is isopropanol. Good for doing titrations though. Cheers, Joe
