I don't know if I'd be quite that uncharitable in my characterization.
It takes a lot of time and resources to bring a new product to market.
Furthermore, they may just be vague and evasive to protect their
proprietary technology.  I inquired about the OX2 engine about a year
ago, and was told that it would be available in "approximately 18
months," so they've still technically got 'till October.  Production
problems while a blow to their credibility, are not unreasonable and
could delay the OX2's release even further.  That said, I'll wait until
next year to pass judgment.
