I couldn't agree more - who wants to read irrelevant material? However, I only find out if it's irr/relevant AFTER I've read it!
I think it was Lord Thompson of the Daily Express newspaper empire (?) who said that half of his advertising budget was wated, but, unfortunately, he didn't know which half. Reading the biofuels postings is a bit like that. As a relative newcomer to the scene some of the news stories have been most thought provoking - especially as most of the US reports don't make news in the UK.
