There are several after-market, stand alone fuel injection systems on the
market. From throttle body replacement to MPFI. Made by Holley, Accel, and
Edelbrock. Course these are mostly for US cars. Fit a Holden? I'm not that
familiar with Austrailian vehicles. The twin TBI unit from Holley looks as
though it can be adapted to just about any engine. Prices, (US$) about 700.00
for the 2bbl TBI to 2400.00 for the Multi-port job. Check out

I looked at these for building an all aluminum V-8 engine for an airplane, as
they are altitude compensating, and don't ice up.
