I suppose much depends on how such introductions are marked up, which could vary from module to module. I wasn't really focusing on the [chapter 0] and verse 0 concept that you reminded me of.
I was thinking rather of any OSIS Bible module that used <div type="introduction"> ... </div> . Question prompted by observing the neat way that *xulsword* handles introductions, albeit the IBT modules use a different OSIS markup for such items. Their method is to have a custom attribute (type="x-intro") for the title element.
