Dear SynCE user,

The SynCE project has switched its version control system successfull to
subversion.

The current svn directory structure is as follows:
============================
The base synce repository is accessible at
 xxx://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/synce
where xxx can be "http", "https", "svn" or "svn+ssh".

The HEAD (trunk)
==========
The HEAD versions (trunk) of all packages are located in the subdirectory
"trunk".
So, for example, if you want to check out the trunk of libsynce you have to
write

svn co xxx://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/synce/trunk/libsynce libsynce-trunk

This checks out the package libsynce into the destination directory
libsynce-trunk.

Tagged versions
==========
All tagged versions are located in the subdirectory "tags/<tagname>" where
<tagname> is the name of the particular tag you are interested in.

Thus, for example, if you want to check out the state of gnomevfs with tag
V0_1 you have to do

svn co xxx://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/synce/tags/V0_1/gnomevfs gnomevfs

Branches
======
All branches are located in the subdirectory "branches/<branchname>" where
<branchname> is the name of the particular branche.

To check out libsynce from WM5 branch, you have to do

svn co xxx://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/synce/branches/WM5/libsynce libsynce

To see what branches and tags are available you can browse through the
repository at http://svn.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.cgi/synce/

best regards
voc
