Will that solution using the printer ports also work using the modem ports? In my case, I would like to connect a Mac 7300 with a IIci as well as print to an Image-Writer II. Right now I have connected serial cables from the printer ports to a three way switch and the output of that switch is connected to the Image-Writer II. So I am already using the printer ports.
I have PhoneNet cables but have not used them.
