I found a solution :

  <span jwcid="[EMAIL PROTECTED]:AjaxEventSubmit"
  updateComponents="ognl:{'AppContentPrimary'}"
  action=""

  <script>
   function beforeDelete()
   {
      var message = '<span key="deleteMessage"/>';
    if (confirm(message))
    {
   document.<span jwcid="@Insert" value="ognl: components.deleteScript.functionName"/>(event);
    }
   }
  </script>

  <a href="" jwcid="@Any" id="anId" class="aFilter" >   <span jwcid="@Insert" value="a label" raw="true"></span>
  </a>

It works in Internet Explorer but not in Firefox. It's only a matter of propagating the event object.

Well,

       Thanks everyone for the help! I'll take a deeper look into my code. If I found a solution, I will send it.

So show us what you are getting in your browser.  In the end, tapestry
sends code to your browser, and that code is clearly not doing what
you want it to do, so debug that, not tapestry.  Once you figure out
what is wrong with the rendered code, it is usually easy enough to
figure out what is wrong on the tapestry side.  My guess is that it
isn't assigning an id that is equivalent to your jwcid, but I don't
know for sure.
