Just a little reminder for cycle route mappers: If the number is white-on-red, it's a National Route, so you use the ncn_ref tag (or an ncn relation).
If it's white-on-blue, it's a Regional Route, so you use rcn_ref/rcn. If it's a city route (fairly rare), or an unnumbered local route, use lcn_ref/lcn. I've corrected a few 'ncn's and 'lcn's recently to 'rcn's. If you're not sure, do look at the National Cycle Network page on the OSM wiki; it says where most of the routes go. So if you see (for example) a route 41 sticker in North-West Wales, you'll know that it should be 'rcn' because National Route 41 is in Gloucestershire/Warwickshire. Bear in mind that sometimes local councils get the signs wrong. ;) cheers Richard _______________________________________________ Talk-GB mailing list Talk-GB@openstreetmap.org http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-gb
