Thank you, Mateusz, for the details of the guidelines and the rules regarding acceptable usage when using auto edits. I fully understand the needs for these but as so much is involved including the creation and maintenance of a new wiki page, which is quite outside my experience, I have decided to edit the tags manually and individually in JOSM having imported those needing correction in bulk.
