Just posting this here, in case anyone is interested in attending.

The Philippines' National Mapping and Resource Information Authority or NAMRIA,
is an agency of the Philippine government under the Department of Environment
and Natural Resources responsible for providing the public with mapmaking
services and acting as the central mapping agency, depository, and distribution
facility of natural resources data in the form of maps, charts, texts, and
statistics.

Following this, it is very relevant for information technology in the
Philippines to foster in order to provide a web-native integrated management
information and safety and security planning geo-data, especially in times of
crisis and calamity. Furthermore, it is as important for businesses in the
Philippines to develop an understanding of the Geoportal Philippine Map Apps,
and utilize it to effectively promote the safety of their members and staff.
