Many of us upload surveying photos as a matter of course and tag them 'OSM' or 'OpenStreetMap'. All mine are licensed CC-SA (to match OSM), however I am beging to think that straight CC or even PD would be more appropriate as it might help other map makers (those pesky Google community) to use the information without the need to burn more gas/petrol collecting the same information.
