Yea, I'm not sure how effective a survey would be.
However, a newsletter type mail out, reminding people they registered, and
explaining a little bit about how cool OSM is ... that could be useful to get
people involved for the first time, or again. We could roll out with some A/B
testing, to see what's most effective. Board authorized this way back in our
Nov 2011 face to face, would hope to see it soon enough!
