Enabling users to submit GPS traces is definitely in our to-do list, unfortunately it didn't make it into the first iteration.
The position of the note is stored as soon as the user opens the report tab, so the user can edit it for a while and when it is sent it's still the position when he opened the menu that gets sent with the report. Including the heading should be fairly simple, we have also planned to include the position accuracy in the notes.
