Custom toolbars are pencilled in for version 2 and are not yet available. "View unread" can be done quickly by Alt-clicking on the envelope icon of an unread message. Alt-clicking in the message list is a very simple way of doing a quick filter. Press <Ctrl-Escape> to cancel any quick-filters. > 4. No. Perhaps you should use the Mail Ticker. When you double click on that you get a "virtual folder" containing *all* unread messages (well, you can actually restrict which ones appear in the ticker).
