Or you could try something like Popcorn, which is a small email client
which works with mail on the server - a bit like an advanced Message
Despatcher.

There used to be a freeware version which unlimited accounts (which I
might be able to find and send you).  It now costs USD20 and the
freeware version is limited to one account.  Still useful for
emergencies, however.
