Dear Iaen, When I produced that material, it was starting from the perspective of what is a weatherstation.
Depending upon where you are with this topic, my suggestion would be for you to contact a dealer of the Davis weatherstations to discuss exactly what you might have in mind, what you want to obtain from any such unit and how that can be achieved. Setting up the equipment is important and this depends upon what type of system you have in mind. I don't know where you reside so not quite sure how to best help from here.
