Hi,
Here’s one very good reason why you should consider the purchase of a Google
assistant device such as a Home Mini, Home or Home Max.
One can now use these devices to make voice activated calls using a mobile
network – say Telstra in Australia -.
You do of course need an existing Telstra mobile account and from there you
link the account to your Google Assistant.
Once linked you can say things like, “Okay Google, call 03 9747 3975” or a name
from your contacts list.
The call is made through Telstra and you have complete hands-free freedom as
you talk to the caller.
I’ve found the hands-free from my Google Home Max to be remarkably good,
amongst the best I’ve heard.
I spoke to someone last week who was using a Google Home Mini and results were
just as good to listen to.
There are no additional charges from Telstra for this service and the service
can be used with Pre-Paid mobile plans.
