Wonder of wonders, the 6 files now appear to be publicly accessible. Somehow,
the two tabs (“Scores” and “Parts”) have now been combined into one (“Scores
and Parts”). And the first main header under that one tab is misleading: it
says “Complete” while all it contains is harpsichord parts (in facsimile). I
suppose it is a complete set of harpsichord parts, but still…

To be safe, I’ll try to wait a day or 2 before announcing the upload to all of
my flute- and harpsichord-playing friends. I do feel pretty good about making
these unusual pieces available.

Thanks again to Jean-Pierre, Christian, and especially Bob for your attention
to this. I did manage to associate my name with my Donsimons category page per
instructions from the message I got from IMSLP about the deletion. I then
resubmitted the 6 files (as Donsimons) and have my fingers very firmly crossed.

The reason for my having two different login names is mired in ancient history,
but evidently one of them was originally for the forums and the other for file
submissions.

Don: Looking through the "history" of the Work page, your original submissions
were as user Dsimons and your new submissions were as
[[User:Donsimons|Donsimons]]. The latter seemed to be unknown so I changed the
User field to Dsimons and that must have provoked the (possibly automatic)
deletions. Sigh.

Is his category page associated with his account and name linked in the editor
field to category page? That should be automated in the upload process, do not
touch this. Otherwise immediate deletion.

I don't know what this jargon means. Is it possible you logged in differently
from before and IMSLP thinks you're not the same user so that my "fix" was
referring to the original user rather than the "new" user?

Thanks, Bob and Jean-Pierre, but I couldn't get past #(1). When I click on
the number and then on "Upload a new version of this file" I get a page with
title "Upload picture" and just below that the statement "Please do not use
this form to upload music scores! To submit a score please use the link 'Add
a file to this page ...' ". There doesn't appear to be any option there to
upload a replacement file for the score.
