Many thanks to Bob for his diligent handling of my submission!
Just a few clarifications: The limit that has been removed is not on the NUMBER of beams, it’s on their SLOPE. In order to remove the limit of 9 on the number of slopes, you’ll need to enter the new global option AB. Also, the ability to have 2-digit figured bass figures is completely independent of the beam-slope issue and doesn’t require any new global A option. --Don Simons From: TeX-Music <tex-music-bounces+dsimons=roadrunner....@tug.org> On Behalf Of Bob Tennent Sent: Saturday, February 11, 2023 5:42 AM To: Werner Icking Music Archive <tex-music@tug.org> Subject: [Tex-music] PMX 3.00 Don Simons has released PMX version 3.00: http://icking-music-archive.org/software/pmx/pmx300.zip This version provides an option to remove the limit of 9 on forced beams. A side benefit of selecting the option is that all beams are vectorized and 2-digit figured bass figures are allowed. An easy-to-install package with a zipped texmf tree, Windows executables and a tar.gz file which can be processed on any Unix-like system with basic GNU tools and a C compiler is available at http://icking-music-archive.org/software/pmx/pmx-3.00.zip and at CTAN.org. It will soon be available in MikTeX and in TeXLive2023. Consult pmx-install.pdf for installation instructions. Bob Tennent
