I don’t know much about Macs, but I do know that some recent Mac OS’s have 
Linux buried somewhere behind the scenes, and I also know that on the software 
page

there’s a link to a “PMX Version 2.603 binaries from Bob Tennent for Mac OS-X 
Version 10.3 or later” at

If you decide to pursue this, I can guarantee you that people on this mailing 
list can help you with any setup problems you encounter.

 Unfortunately I only work on macs and from what I understood this kind of 
operating system

is not supported yet.
