Monkey-patching is marvellous if and only if just one monkey
at a time does the patching. :-(
What you are trying to typeset?
BTW, I find it hard to understand why code like
\TransformNotes{#2}{#2}%
\Notes\ha J&\ibl0j0\qb0j\tqb0j\en
\NOtes&\qa j\en
is deemed user-friendly. But that's only me, I'm sure.
