Chapter 2
Chris was beginning to get intrested in it when she heard, "Chris, come on. We found nothing here. We're leaving." Grumbling to herself, she grabbed the book and stuffed it into her leather backpack. Glancing around, she once again thought that someone was watching her. She heard something, like the sound of a door opening. She stepped toward it and was about to open it when she heard, "Christine Alicia Morgan. I said, we are leaving now!" The girl glanced at the door and headed out to join her parents.
Ash watched the pretty girl go. She looked so much like her sister. He shook his head. He had come from his home and had come to Castle Vadislav to see if there were any clues as to where Michelle had taken the stone. Unfortunatelly it had been sunrise before he had discovered anything intresting. He had to take shelter in one of the old crypts. He had just got up when he heard the girl walk toward the door. He had stood there mesmerized. She was beautiful. He had to have her.That was it, plain and simple. He shook his head. He was not pleased with Serinia. She was rather spitfull. He also had a sneaking suspision that she had tried to get his master to kill him. He wouldn't put it past her. He smiled to himself and followed the girl.
Chris had finally got out of the castle and was walking to where her father and step-mother were. She reflected that she had never known her real mother. Her real mother had died when she was born. That also explained why she and her sister's didn't look alike.
