Didier,

Several years ago I obtained a number of those modules intending to build a GPS
steered standard.

At the URL below you will find a large (24MB) ZIP file that contains much of
the data that I put together regarding these R-1051 frequency standards. Some
of the files included are my original work and some are from other sources. I
never completed adding a varactor and steering one of these modules because I
got involved with the then easily available Z-3801A units.

Feel free to ask further questions - I may or may not recall all the details.

Subject: [time-nuts] Schematic of 5MHz frequency standard

I bought one of those 5 MHz OCXO (ebay item 7611240664,
http://tinyurl.com/q7lry) and I would like to modify it for use with a GPS
receiver (add a varactor, convert to 12V operation for easy battery back-up and
remove un-needed circuitry).

I would appreciate it if anyone had the schematic.

The explanations on eBay would probably be sufficient to do the job, but I
would prefer to be sure of what I am doing rather than guess (tall
order...)

Thanks in advance.
