You're lacking the parentheses. Here's an example of a working domain in a view:
<field> Anyway you might also have another problem... is the field named "category" or category_id? Are you sure you want to perform a "=" comparison or an 'ilike' comparison? If you're going to hard code 'My Partner' why not jus hard code its 'id' and perform a faster seach? Just a few thoughts.
