The information you found is for an old version. Try Administration->Users->Company's Structure->Companies, then click on the company and there you should find an LDAP Parameters field. Yes, it's very much hidden:)
If you need information about the modules you installed, try this: on the modules list find your module, click, then on the Features tab you'll find all the menus, views and reports that the module creates.
