This looks like it might have some good stuff for psychology classes:

>On Dateline Friday: And Justice For All?

This week, DATELINE NBC and MSNBC.com break some new interactive ground with
"And Justice For All?" -- a criminal justice story that begins on the Web
and concludes on the air.

Viewers who log on to our Web site at http://www.dateline.msnbc.com will
find themselves reading real letters sent to a real trial lawyer. The
letters are from men sentenced to spend the rest of their lives in prison.
They claim to be innocent, and they plead for the lawyer's help. It is the
viewer's job to decide which cases he or she would pursue, and how much time
and money to spend on each case. With each click of the mouse, the
investigation progresses, and new information is provided. Viewers can
choose to pay for a DNA test, if they feel that is warranted. In the end,
these cases really do have "answers." DNA tests provide relatively
conclusive proof of the prisoners' guilt or innocence.

"The idea was to make people think in a different way," says DATELINE
producer Andy Court. "Rather than telling people what happened, we'd like
them to first think about what they would do."

One of these cases will be told on DATELINE tonight. Correspondent Rob
Stafford reports the story of Omar Saunders, sentenced to life in prison for
the murder of a young medical student. Was he really an innocent man? And if
so, could anyone prove it? Police had said this case was solved. But the
real mystery was just beginning.

Join us for "And Justice For All?" -- A DATELINE Special tonight at 9:00 PM
ET, 8:00 PM Central on NBC.
