7th Northeastern Conference for Teachers of Psychology. The 7th NECTOP conference will be held on October 19, 2001 at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, CT. The daylong conference features an opening address by Jill Reich, Vice-President for Academic Affairs at Bates College and former Director of the APA Education Directorate, six presentations on classroom topics, and an afternoon teaching-related poster session. The conference closes with a joint reception/dinner with participants of the New England Psychological Association meeting, a late afternoon address by Robert Sternberg, Yale University, and an after dinner lecture by Carol Dweck, Columbia University. NECTOP participants are invited to register for and attend the October 19-20, 2001 NEPA meeting, which is also being held at WCSU.
