The news here is not the corruption. That’s well known for years.

The big news here is indictments and worldwide cooperation among police forces
to investigate and arrest.

FIFA has operated as if it was extra-legal, and had some reason to believe it
based on certain treaties and contracts.

The US Justice Department, and others around the world, are begging to differ,
apparently.

This will be interesting to watch.

Follow the money.

This revelation suggests that perhaps we should consider some
new courses in order for out students to better compete in the real
world, for example:

(1) How to Effectively Lie and Cheat for Fun and Profit
(2) Brand/Activity Loyalty: Effective Exploitation of Uncritical Fandom
(3) Adaptive Strategies for Incarceration: Beyond Survival, Ruling

Seriously, how do teachers manage to claim that one should
be honest and truthful when the payoffs for hypocrisy and being
corrupt are so great?

Or are people too busy makes plans on how to survive the
110+ degree temperatures in Qatar while they're there to
watch the game in person or, for the rest of the world,
planning the party their going to have during the game?

I guess there's just one thing left to say about the arrests:
