http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=10948 JNDI lookup in servlet init fails Summary: JNDI lookup in servlet init fails Product: Tomcat 4 Version: 4.1.7 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Catalina AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] A JNDI lookup for a resource fails when it is attempted in the "init" function of a servlet. The same code however works fine when it is done in a "doPost" or "doGet". This means that some initialisation cannot be done until the first request for a servlet that is loaded on startup. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
