Absolutely nothing -- you only see the new instance starting. That's the odd thing about it. The only evidence whatsoever that it went down is in the Windows Event Viewer -- it says "The Apache Tomcat 4.1 service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(so). The following corrective action will be taken in 60000 milliseconds: Restart the service."
