Sometimes it's a badly phrased question. Sometimes people don't have the time (this isn't a paid support network you know). Sometimes nobody knows the answer.
Read the info on "Netiquette" on the Tomcat site. I found it very useful, sorry I can't remember the URL. True I don't always remember to follow all the guidelines but I do try and it keeps me roughly on the right track. If my question isn't answered it can sometimes show me the reason why.
