Windows and linux use different url.

Ok, it is working on my test (Windows) environment.
But with same war deploying it to my Live environment(Linux) results in 
it creating myapp.xml as a directory rather than a file !
Ive doubled checked this and the behaviour is constant, anyone ever 
sdeen this?
