I really meant to say I pinged localhost in my last message To: Tomcat Users List<mailto:tomcat-user@jakarta.apache.org> Sent: Thursday, April 07, 2005 10:32 AM Subject: Re: Can you use Tomcat when you are not on line?
Do you have a 'hosts' file? It should be located in $WINDOWS/system32/drivers/etc If you don't have one, create it and put in a line like: ----- Original Message ----- From: Robert Koberg<mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 127.0.0.1 localhost Note, you can also use this file for dev purposes. For example, say you are working on 127.0.0.1 tomcat.apache.org best, -Rob Walter Lee wrote: > Thanks for responding.
