It is funny. Once I talked with you a while ago I found in the spec that I indeed should use "%= exp %" in a JSP documents (i.e. with xml syntax) instead of "<%= exp %>" in a JSP page. I tried it then and it did not work for me. So I've decided that it's implemented differently in Tomcat. I've just have tried it once more and it is working fine! I guess last time my jsp was cached and that's why I did not see the result :) Thanks again for your responce. It was helpful. --Seva
