Dear all, I have a Red Hat Linux 7.1 server on our internal LAN running Apache 1.3.20 with Tomcat 3.2.2.
Its running fine with one virtual host but when I add another virtual host using a different IP address (after adding some more with ifconfig) and then adding <Host...> and <Context..> to server.xml it doesnt work. Any ideas? Does any have any examples of how to get virtual hosts (name-based, port-based or IP based) working with Tomcat 3.2.x please? Or can u direct me to a good resource? Another thing, our Win2K Server provides Internet access using NAT (Routing and Remote Access), should I just add Special Ports? I mean just forward port 80 or are there other ports to i need to forward? I've read the Tomcat User Guide (pretty lacking in explanations I must say) and scoured the mailing list archive to no avail.
