Hi, Recently in the merge proposal Benoit, Rodja and I have been working on[1], a color change came up.
In this branch (sync-ui), the default look was changed to a lighter theme (black on white instead of grey on black). My original goal with the colors was to look as native as possible. Rodja is saying that new apps looks lighter now: All newer Google Apps like the Gallery, Android Market, Clock, Google Talk, > Google Goggles, ... and the thrid party Apps where Google was involved like > Amazon MP3 and the offical Twitter App use a light theme. I think this is a > trend Tomdroid should follow. > > So, to those you played with that branch more than me: should we stick with black on white or we revert this for 0.4? The intention here is to look native. I would dislike going light and then getting bad feedback and reverting to dark in a subsequent release so this is why I'm asking here. Please, no discussion of advanced options to provide themes unless you are willing to do the code for it. Cheers!
